YOUR MISTAKE IS A PATH TO YOUR DESTINY

The mistakes we make in life can either make or mar our destiny. There was a man going on a journey and he didn't quite know the road to his destination. So when he got to a cross road, he decided to ask for direction from a taxi driver. The driver told him to turn left, he was so confident about it. So this man turned left as directed and
continued on his journey. He traveled for another three hours before he started seeing sign posts, that was when he knew it was a mistake, he has been misdirected by the taxi driver.

Now he is so vexed and confused, he didn't know if he should turn back to the Cross road where he missed it or he should just ask someone else may be there could be a link to where he is going. But this time he is afraid to ask for direction again since someone has misled him barely three hours ago.
Every human being is entitled to atleast one major mistake in their lifetime, that was why Jesus said, "there is a road that seems right to everyman but the end is destruction". Am not talking about  writing something and you make a mistake on paper, am talking about a major mistake you make in the process of your life journey. A major decision you make in your life and it turns out to be a deadly mistake. It could be in the choice of who to marry, or in your career or choice of education. Some mistakes can be corrected, some we'll just have to live with it for the rest of our lives. Like Abraham giving birth to Ishmael. Some mistakes leave scars in our lives even long after they've been corrected.
Some mistakes are easily detected others may take several years before we realize it.
Just like the man in our story, you can not continue on a journey knowing it will end in the wrong destination. Do not continue in error. Once you realize you are in a mud do not wallow in it. The starting point is to admit that you've made a mistake. And God is a good God if you submit your mistake to hime he will turn it around to your advantage. Esau was meant to serve Jacob forever, before they were born God said the elder will serve the younger but when Esau kept crying to his father Isaac , Isaac said "you shall serve him for a while but when you bexome restless you shall break his yoke off your back, and that was what happened.
